Pray that any fear or anxiety that surfaces individually or collectively during this season of change is brought to Jesus in prayer. Pray for peace to fill our hearts as we continue to serve Jesus and seek to bring His Kingdom here at Hope while waiting for God to send us our new lead pastor.
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
1 Timothy 1:7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore. Psalm 125:1-2
