Here’s a look at the schedule:

10 a.m. Hope Community Church for a time of worship and a few announcements.

11 a.m. Pingree Park (8400 Forest Ave.) Community picnic — we'll supply burgers, hotdogs, chips and water. Feel free to bring a dish to share or other food and drinks.

11 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. Birdie’s Book Nest (8700 Mack Ave.) Elementary and middle schoolers who pre-registered can visit for free book.

11:45 Time to eat!

Activities at the park include: Basketball, soccer and other picnic games as well as the playground. There might even be a visit from an ice cream truck!

There will be a limited number of tables and chairs. Please bring camp chairs and/or picnic blankets if you have them.
